Today I have researched information on the DSS and the EIS which stand for Decision Support system and an Executive information systems. I have created a brief slide show on what both of these are.

Today I have learned about The Process Input Output.

Defenition - Purpose of any inforamtion system is to process data into useful information

Data - Stream of rawr facts representing events
Information - Data processed into useful information

Data + Processing = Information

Datat + Context = Information

Quantitative - Numbers, Statistics, Financial ( Often presented in tabular or graphical format)

Qualitative - Usualy words or text ( Discriptive)

I have looked at and identified my goals and what I would like to achieve in my lifetime.

These are my identified training needs (From task 2)

Networking

Keyboard skills

Communication skills

Microsoft office (07 package) Training

Advanced operating system knowledge

The type of learner I am is a Kinaesthetic.
I am practical with learning and prefer to be more hands on.

My mid term goal links in here as I would like to become an ICT Technican and I am a Kinaesthetic learner and the job role is very practical and hands on and is very ideal for the type of person I am.

Objectives - short term - pass this course with MMM+ this would require me studying hard and would require a various amount of learning styles to accomplish this task such as Kinaesthetic Visual and Auditory.

Medium Term - Get a high paid job. the type of job I would like is something practical because i learn with Kinaesthetic. So the type of job I would like to achieve in life in the ICT department would be a computer technician and maintenance repair.

Long Term - To be successful in my proffession|, This would require me to go on several different trianing courses in my job to progress and get a promotion or more.
